Discussion meeting on the occasion of Great Victory Day was held at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology on Sunday, 17 December 2023. Hero freedom fighter Shah Saeed Kamal was the chief guest in the discussion meeting. The event was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Fazli Elahi.Brave freedom fighter Shah Saeed Kamal in his speech as the chief guest paid tribute to those who gave their lives to achieve the independence of Bangladesh and highlighted the significance of the Great Victory Day. He specifically mentioned a few things about the participation of fighters at different times in the liberation war. He reminded the new generation of their responsibilities. He reminisced about the liberation war. He also remembered the contribution of people of all classes and professions in the liberation war. He reminisced about the actual experience of the liberation war.

University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Fazli Elahi said, everyone should know the significance of the Great Victory Day, the necessity of the liberation war, the goals, objectives and the responsibilities of everyone after independence. Wishing peace to the souls of those who sacrificed their lives for the attainment of the great freedom and urged them to utilize the benefits of freedom properly. Addressing the students, he said that the young generation should understand the significance of Victory Day and prepare for the formation of the country.Member of Board of Trustees of Ahsanullah University and Executive Director of Dhaka Ahsaniya Mission spoke as a special guest in the discussion meeting.
