The Central Zone Vice Chancellors' Conference was indeed held at KIIT University from February 25-26, 2025, focusing on globalization and internationalization of Indian higher education. The conference emphasized key areas, including:- Indian Network for Internationalization of Higher Education (INIHE)- University Cluster Pilot Program- Academic and Administrative Development- International Student Research Convention- Consultancy- Value-Added ServicesProfessor Singh was impressed by the infrastructure and instructional facilities at KIIT and KISS, which have a total capacity of one lakh students, with faculty and staff residing on the same campus. The campus notably addresses all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).During his visit, Professor Singh met Dr. Achyuta Samanta, the founder of KIIT and KISS, who has made significant contributions to education in Odisha, particularly among tribal families. The conference highlighted the importance of policymakers, educators, and parents visiting KIIT and KISS to understand how private universities can provide low-cost, quality education.
